I had a last minute client meeting scheduled yesterday morning in houston, so on monday afternoon while the twins stayed with their bb and papa, Jordan and Baker tagged along as we made our way south for a quick road trip… and by quick I mean like twenty-four hours:)

I recently found your blog and have really enjoyed it! Your family is precious! My daughter Ellis is just a few days younger than Baker, So it's fun to see how they are doing so many similar things! I was noticing that you give Baker a good amount of "table food" and was wondering how she does with that and what types of foods you give her. We've only done cereal and puréed fruits/veggies with Ellis, but she seems so interested in what we eat! This is my first, so I'm just not sure what good foods to start with are and would love to hear your thoughts/experiences!
Hi Amber, I recently discovered your blog and have really enjoyed it! Your family is so precious! My daughter Ellis is just a couple of days younger than Baker, so it's fun to see them going through many of the same stages at the same time and get another mom's perspective on things! I see that you give Baker a good amount of "table" food and wanted ask you about what types of things you give her and how she does with it. We have only given Ellis cereal and pureed fruits/veggies, but she is SO interested in what we eat so I was thinking of giving her some other things, but am not really sure where to start! (this is our first child). Would love to hear your thoughts/experiences! : )
Hey Stacey!
I am actually doing baby led weaning with Baker- so we skipped the purees:) I did purees with the twins and decided to go this route with Baker and have loved my experience. I read a lot about it before starting.. a great place to start is blwideas.com I plan to do a follow up post on what I'm giving her and how shes doing with it soon (like next week!) I hope that helps!
