still recovering from the excitement of the weekend, you guys last week was SO full! baby appointments, celebrating sweet Baker Bree turning three, my mom and brother came in town and we all found out the gender of this little one! my head is spinning!
Saturday friends and family came together for Baker’s third birthday celebration.. I thought it was going to be impossible to top last year’s flamingle fun, oh but I think we did! back in March, Teresa (she’s my MIL best friend and like my second mom) asked if she could host Baker’s birthday party. Teresa has an amazing pool and lots of space in the backyard so I hopped on the opportunity in no time! after seeing a few similar “boho” set ups on Pinterest I sent the hubby on a hunt for the perfect wood pallets for our main table and decor. Facebook marketplace for the win at just $5 a pallet!! we ended up finding these longer pallets at 6 foot (I think a standard pallet is about 3×3) so the length was perfect for our patio ‘table’!!
I’ve decided that balloon garlands just take your party decor to the next level. we set up everything the night before the party and it wasn’t until Jordan and my mom hung the garland and I stuffed a bit of greenery and flowers into the slats in the wood that this set up came to life! the garlands are a lot easier than they seem.. we watched a tutorial on youtube 🙂
last minute I decided to reuse the drink stand Jordan built from Brady’s fire station ONE party, hence the “fueling station” sign. we added the floral garland I saved from the twins’ unicorn party and I think it gave it the perfect girly touch. the only request Teresa had the entire day was to get a picture of Miss Baker on the cactus float she bought her. ABSOLUTELY. we had gnome cones bring out there pop cart full of gnomesicles to set up by the pool and it was a HUGE hit for both the kids and the adults! the best pops I’ve ever had, hands down. bless this guy for keeping up with his full gnome attire through the 101 degree Texas summer heat. he was so polite and really awesome! if you’re local, I highly recommend! these girls swam their little hearts out with all their friends and just had the best time. happy birthday, Baker!!
*about 11 adults were screaming “chug chug chug” at Parker, Jolie, and Baker to get them to drink punch out of these cactus sippers for a photo. it was hilarious! never a dull moment.

My birthday is July 30th. I’ll be 56. I am putting you in charge of the party….GO!!! What amazing memories you are creating for your children.
What a fun party! You do such an amazing job!!
This is so adorable!! Can you link to the YouTube videos you used for the balloon garland? Would love to do this for a bridal shower I’m hosting Sunday!! Would you say it took under 2 hours to do?
it takes about an hour with two people.. I strongly suggest an electric balloon pump (I got mine at party city).
heres the tutorial! there are tons on youtube!!

Every little detail is PERFECTION!! Happy birthday to Baker!!

All so gorgeous!!! Do you think I can do the balloon garland the night before or will it look deflated? How long did it last?? Thank you!
I made it the night before and it was just fine. its just air, no helium so it doesn’t deflate the same.
I love everything about this!!! You did such a great job, as always. You should seriously start your own party planning business ????
The aesthetic of this is just… WOW. HBD, Baker.
