hey hey! its part II of our Spring Break recap- with a load of photos to boot! recapping this trip has brought back many memories and laughs from our vacation and it makes me so excited to go back!
on Thursday morning after breakfast, I spent some time solo at the spa. The Grove’s Escape Spa has a large array of services- massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and waxing! I opted for a massage and added the
“best foot forward” tension release foot massage to my spa service. that was the best 90 minutes EVER and came at the perfect time after a full week of being back to working out for the first time since having Baylor. after my massage I was greeted with a fruit plate and mimosaright out side the women’s locker and shower room (which, by the way, has a comfortable steam room to decompress before or after your spa service) there is a full coffee and beverage bar clients are welcome to enjoy. the best part about booking a service was that I was able to come back at any point of the day to enjoy the spa perks! after spending a couple hours away to refresh I headed back to the room to meet up with my babes and Jordan to hit the pool!
my kimono is from vici collection but it looks like it is sold out 🙂 my pool/beach bag is from my recent stitch fix vacation Fix!wearing another Albion Fit suit! code MASSEY15 is still good for a discount! my wild bird sling is the Hylia double chambray (and my favorite!) we spent most of the day relaxing by the pool.. more naps, more food, more yummy drinks and tons of sunscreen 🙂
swim trunks are Kortni Jeane and his play mat is Toki Mats. I loved having this padded mat for Baylor to lay on under the cabana! made for the most comfortable spot to sleep in the shade. and the girls. obsessed with their suits (from pink chicken) and head wraps (from Shelby Chic Boutique) and the most darling smiles on their beautiful faces! they has such a great time.. the glow of excitement on their faces for every new thing they got to be apart of was the best!dinner each night was pretty casual. I wore jeans/shorts or a maxi dress! the girls wore sundresses or shorts and the boys were in shorts and a t-shirt or polo.on this night the twins picked out a pair of earrings from my jewelry pouch.. I have memories of my mom putting her jewelry on me and when Parker asked I felt so happy to let her borrow my earrings for the evening!
our last morning at the resort! this week went by so quickly! mornings were easy and like we were right at home. the full size kitchen allowed is to keep things like milk, coffee creamer, granola bars.. things they would normally eat right when they wake up. so, instead of getting up early and rushing out of the room with hangry kids we were able to keep a pretty normal routine of milk + cartoons first thing in the morning and took our time getting ready for the day. we had a cabana every day we were there! it was a comfortable place to be able to keep our items + a personal cooler for drinks, plenty of chairs, and umbrella right outside the tent, and a TV! the kids and Jordan hit up the lazy river multiple times through our stay! those water slides behind us were also a big hit! the girls were a little too short to ride the big ones, but the smaller water slides (there are 3) were on repeat. I am so bummed but I forgot to document the FlowRider surf simulator– but that is a MUST during your stay at the resort! my suit is from Summersalt! LOVE this shape and style. highly recommend for postpartum! you can use code MASSEYA10 for a discount! Baylor’s trucker hat is from George Hats (use code MASSEYA15) more poolside naps. Brady would play his little heart out for hours in the morning and after we would order lunch around 1-2pm he would pass out on a lounge chair for about an hour everyday. attempt number 850 of a picture by the pool. that sun was so bright!
his white sunscreen face kills me. there was an airbrush tattoo stand (it also had hair braiding and beading, too!) that the girls wanted to try! Jolie got herself the giant lizard and Parker and Baker chose the butterfly. more food. I always looked forward to lunch at the Longboard Grill! there were servers walking around to take our food and beverage orders and the food was delivered right to your chair or cabana. Brady was a HUGE fan of the BBQ!right before we called it a day I lathered Baylor up with sunscreen one last time and we took a dip in the pool. for his first time, he loved it! LOOK at all that chunk! that evening we met with Brittany of Brittany Belle Isle Photography and she captured a few family photos of us to document our first family vacation at The Grove! she is the absolute sweetest and I highly recommend her if you are in the Orlando/Port Orange area 🙂 after the sunset we grabbed dinner and spent the last evening in the resort arcade and family fun center- Flip Flops is jam packed with video and interactive games. we even got a round of mini golf in before calling it a night!
the next morning none of us were ready to go home. we packed our clothes (CLEAN clothes, mind you. remember, we had a full size washer and dryer in our room!) this was such a great trip and perfect timing to get away. Jordan’s dad was painting our kitchen and we needed to be gone for several days while he worked to finish!
luggage is from Away. we have the large and medium sizes. can you tell who was NOT ready to go home? Brady caught a glimpse of the pool on our way out and was hard pressed to get out in that water again!
this was such a FUN trip. we will be back and we cannot wait!! the generous folks at The Grove have offered my readers/followers a discount of 15% off best available rates on 1, 2, and 3 bedroom suites! book via this link or use code MASSEY
