its that time of year!  and if you haven’t already gotten a jump start on your Christmas shopping (I haven’t even started..) we’re four weeks away from Christmas and this week I’m sharing some fun ideas for giving to your favorite people. I have done these gift guides for the last handful of years and you know what I’m most excited about this year?  I’ve got a baby boy to shop for!

FAUX LEATHER SPANX :: I’ve never owned a pair of Spanx leggings until literally a couple weeks ago. I got these faux leather leggings in my most recent Fix and OMG what the heck was I waiting on??!  I have seen them all over blogs and social media- women rave over them.. well, here I am raving. I wore them on Thanksgiving and while dishing up my second helping of mashed potatoes I announced that I wished all my pants were Spanx. #truth.

UGG SLIPPERS :: I think I ask for slippers every year.. probably because I always go for the cheapest pair on the shelf and they wear out by the end of the season which is why I am asking for some a bit higher quality. these UGG slippers look SO cozy and the fact that they have a fuzzy lining and a hard soled bottom makes them worth the extra dollars, if you ask me!

MAC MAKEUP BRUSHES :: I definitely believe that the quality of your brushes determines the quality of your makeup application.  I have used MAC makeup brushes for years and LOVE them. these gift sets are an easy way to gift versus buying them all separately- plus you get the cute little bag that goes with it!  I recently started using it cosmetics brushes and really like them, too!  the super cheap e.l.f. brushes are hit or miss but my favorite makeup brush at the moment is their blending brush!

COZY CARDIGANS :: I got this chunky hooded cardigan vest on black Friday and YOU GUYS- its amazing. I have a cardigan addiction- and you know its bad when my husband looks me straight in the face when I walked up to the register with this cardigan and said “you really need that? you have so many..” I will wear the crap out of this cardigan not only because I love it but also to prove to him that I really needed it🙂

POM BEANIE :: I love hats, mainly because they cover my dirty hair when I just need one more day out of it before I make the effort to wash + dry + fix it. in the cooler air I love beanies for the little addition they offer to my outfit- gives my style a boost in the right direction even if I’m wearing jeans and a t-shirt. this one is SO cute and comes in a variety of colors- just $15 bucks!

LAYERING NECKLACE :: these layering necklaces have become my favorite accessory!  I used to wear those super chunky necklaces and big earrings, but over the years and add in a few more kids my style has changed and become more simplistic when it comes to jewelry. I wear these kind of necklaces in addition to my favorite bar necklace from jays and jewels! I also love this layering necklace, too and its under $30!

CASUAL SNEAKERS :: every mom needs a great casual sneaker. wearing sneakers as an accessory versus for working out makes a huge difference on how you can successfully pull off the athleisure style. don’t wear your running shoes or dirty old Adidas with a cute cotton dress.
