national coffee day + momiform | albion fit

apparently its national coffee day?  how did I miss the memo when I basically rely on coffee about 20 hours of the day.. only twenty hours because clearly I must sleep sometime.

joke.  but I swear I never understood the appeal of coffee before having kids. growing up I watched my mom drink it at all hours of the day never really understanding until I hit 30 the value and the deliciousness of coffee.  every time I get in the car I get a little excited about the fact that there is potential to hit up a Starbucks drive thru before making it to my final destination.

is that sad?  a little.  I have zero shame.  I can attribute my coffee addiction to no one other than Baker Bree.  I craved iced coffee throughout my entire pregnancy with her and would go at least once a day to fulfill my need.. along with a swing through the Krispy Kreme for one glazed donut. before I was pregnant with her I went mayyyybe once a month?  maybe. I think the coffee gods were preparing me for the tornado child that she is.  or perhaps all my coffee consumption is related to her behavior?

if thats the case then Brady will be a total nut case.

coffee has just become part of my momiform- I get asked all the time about my style and where I like to shop and honestly I never put more thought into my wardrobe until becoming a mom.  well, except that one year in high school (freshman year) when a girlfriend and I wrote down every outfit we wore the entire year and never repeated it.  wow. I just admitted that. while I won’t name names I know she reads the blog- hey girl, remember that??!

life is hectic and so I am looking for easy items that I’m able to throw together and still look somewhat put together.  I shower everyday but only wash my hair twice a week (ish).  I love dry shampoo (I use it on day three!) + rely on tinted moisturizer and lipgloss because I rarely have time to pull out my ‘real’ makeup for everyday use. I usually have about 10 or 15 minutes to get myself ready after Jordan and I tag team getting the rest of the crew groomed and dressed- so I have a handful of go-to outfits I wear pretty often, including this albion fit jumpsuit. they also have it in olive green and I.need.it.  the edgy-sporty look is pretty trendy right now, and while I am wearing platform sneakers in these pictures I could totally throw on a velvet bomber jacket (hellllooo 90’s) and ankle booties for dinner out with my girlfriends or a casual date night with the hubby.  for reference, I’m wearing a size small (5’7 and 126 pounds, size 2) and went with the regular length over the tall option they offer so I could style them cinched up on my calf a bit. its the perfect fit!  its also a great weight to wear now while the temps are mild but still hitting high 80’s in the afternoon and later when I’ll toss on my favorite boyfriend cardigan (on sale!!) and hit the door!

my amazing friends at albion fit have offered my readers 15% off their total purchase!  just use code MASSEYA15 at checkout! I might just take myself over there and use my own code to grab that green jumpsuit or these joggers that I got an email about–  they just came back in stock!top knot is optional + giant coffee is essential.

happy friday, friends!
